 Gunwharf Quays Open Day.

On Saturday 29th November 2008, Back2Health held an Open Day at Gunwharf Quays.

Chiropractors from Back2Health were available throughout the day to answer any questions and raise Chiropractic awareness.

20th Anniversary at Back2Health

 Back2Health Chiropractic marked the 20th anniversary of starting their first clinic in Petersfield, by holding a party on 28th March 2008 at the Festival Hall.  Partners and staff were joined by Petersfield's Town Mayor, Councillor Paul Molloy, Dr Rob Finch, CEO of the College of Chiropractors and over 100 past and present patients.

 Jonathan Field, who started Back2Health, was clearly delighted that so many patients and friends had come along to support the event. He said “When I first started Back2health it was in the old workhouse in Love Lane. Both Back2Health and chiropractic have come along way in 20 years."
 As chiropractic in the town became more popular they needed bigger premises and moved to their current home in Charles Street.

Six other clinics have since been established, employing 14 chiropractors.
Dr Rob Finch PhD from the College of Chiropractors (seen below congratulating Jonathan), gave a speech stating, “It is not surprising to me that when the College of Chiropractors awarded the Patient Partnership Quality Mark, the Back2Health group were amongst the first to be awarded.  So far only 10 per cent of clinics in the country have managed to achieve the demanding standards required for this prestigious award."

Councillor Molloy, the Town Mayor of Petersfield, thanked the partners of Back2Health on behalf of the town saying he was very 
proud of such local businesses. He presented the founding partner Jonathan Field with a plaque to commemorate 20 years of  
successful business.

The clinic situated at: 119 the Hornet, Chichester, West Sussex is no longer part of the Back2Health Group.

Back2Health Win PPQM Award - January 2007

 The Back2Health Chiropractic Clinics were among the first to be recently awarded the Patient Partnership Quality Mark (PPQM), a national quality standard, in recognition of their commitment to meeting patient expectations.

Dr Jonathan Field, who collected the award from the College of Chiropractors, said: "Chiropractors provide safe and effective treatment, and we are proud to say that the award recognises the commitment everyone in the Back2Health clinics has made to meeting and exceeding patients' expectations of their environment and level of care.  We constantly strive to improve our level of service and always welcome feedback from patients."

 PAST EVENTS AT BACK2HEALTH

TITLE - Acupuncture; How does it work and what can it help?

Held On Tuesday 13th November 2007 at Petersfield Hospital

Jonathan Field has worked as a Chiropractor for 20 years.  He has been trained in western acupuncture techniques and explained the western understanding of how acupuncture works and the conditions which it can be appropriate for. 

Tony O'Mara is an Acupuncturist and studied traditional Chinese Medicine for 5 years.  He explained the ancient approach and how the oriental principles can help to bring balance and well being to to all aspects of people's health.   

Back2Health Petersfield Event at the University of the Third Age.

 Jonathan Field DC presented information to approximately 150 attendees of the University of the Third Age on Monday 10th September 2007. 

He spoke about the history of back pain management, the development of chiropractic, the role of the chiropractor in the management of back pain as it is now, and finally spoke of the research being carried out at Back2Health into the outcomes of patient care.

Back2Health Alton at Health Fayre

Back2Health Alton provided a manned stand at the recent Health Fayre, held in the Assembly Rooms on the 8th September 2007.

Open Evening at Back2Health Portsmouth.

Thursday 30th August 2007, Back2Health Portsmouth hosted an Open Evening to enable patients to say goodbye to Olly Dawson and to meet Paul Shanahan DC.  The event was attended by the practitioners and patients and wine, soft drinks and nibbles were available.

September 2006 saw the B2H Waterlooville clinic holding an open evening to introduce the new expanded range of services now available at that site:
