Back to Home Page December 2011 Noa Weiss DC, one of the Chiropractors at Back2Health Midhurst, will be visiting Stedham School. She will be encouraging the children to take part in the British Chiropractic Association campaign, 'Straighten Up UK'. All children taking part will receive a certificate. November 2011 Chiropractor Kelvin Storey of Back2Health Alton, will be talking to Alton's Parkinsons Society on November 16th at 2:00p.m. This will take place at Alton Community Hospital. On November 24th, Chiropractor Jonathan Field of Back2Health Petersfield, will be visiting the Harting Primary School Parents Meeting to talk about the use of Electronic Media. Jonathan Field will be lecturing at Salisbury Hospital on Evidence Based Clinical
Practice. February 2011 Chiropractors Rachel McGranaghan and Jonathan Field both recently took part in careers events. Rachel spent the evening at Portsmouth Grammar School and Jonathan was at a local school in Petersfield. December 2010 One of our partners, Jonathan Field has been included in a list compiled by The Times Magazine of 'Britain's Top Doctors'. He was described amongst 'ten leading experts in complimentary medicine'. Jonathan's inclusion was a reflection of the development work done through Back2Health in increasing the standards and quality of chiropractic care, as well as our promotion of transparency in clinical practice. Research efforts within Back2Health were also acknowledged. April 2010 Spring is finally upon us and during the month of April, Back2Health Southsea are promoting Safe Gardening with a free information leaflet available with basic tips on how to avoid injury whilst gardening - just call in to reception for your information leaflet. If however you are in pain or discomfort the Practitioners are also offering Freescreens. A Freescreen enables people who are in pain or discomfort the opportunity to discuss their case with a practitioner to establish whether treatment may be appropriate for them. March 2010 Treloars held their annual Staff Health Awareness Day on Thursday March 1st. Back2Health Alton were present at this event, offering information and advice. Kelvin Storey DC, spent the morning of Monday 15th March at Chawton Park Indoor Bowls Club. This gave members the opportunity for an informal chat with Kelvin to ask about chiropractic. Back2Health Alton ran an Easter Raffle with two prizes of a Chocolate Hamper and Easter Bunny - the proceeds went to Treloars. January 2010 Back2Health awarded Quality Mark for second time. November 2009 Back2Health Southsea took part in the Portsmouth University Health Fayre on Friday 20th November held in the Hub of the Dennis Sciama building.
August 2009 With the onset of the 2009/2010 Football Season, Back2Health Southsea is focusing upon Chiropractic and Sport. Chiropractors Wayne Chester-Davis and Rachel McGranaghan are offering anyone who thinks they may have a sports injury the opportunity of a 'Chirocheck'. 16th April Back2Health Midhurst - To coincide with Chiropractic Awareness Week, Chiropractor Jemma Langford provided Posture Checks in the Redwood Suite and invited members of the public along to see if chiropractic can help improve their posture. 20th April Back2Health Southsea - Rachel McGranaghan DC held a free Drop-in-Session on Chiropractic and Pregnancy, for women who are pregnancy or who have recently had a baby. March 2009 25th March - Chiropractor Gus Becvar from Back2Health Waterlooville, entered a team into a charity golf match in aid of the Red Cross. 14th March - The Team at Southsea celebrated the event which marked the site opening Saturday mornings. The decision to open at the weekend will enable patients in the area the opportunity of receiving treatment outside working hours. The photograph below shows Wayne Chester-Davis outside the clinic.
12th March - Back2Health Alton held a 'Drop-in-session' on Thursday March 12th between 12:00 and 14:00 in celebration of providing ten years chiropractic care to the community of Alton. The aim of the session was to enable the public to call in and discuss their condition with a chiropractor, without any obligation. The photograph below shows Kelvin Storey DC outside the clinic.
Back2Health chiropractor Rachel McGranaghan, a keen cyclist herself, presented information to members of the Fareham Wheelers Cycling club on Monday 9th February 2009.
Rachel spoke about the development of chiropractic and the role of a chiropractor in the management of back pain. She also demonstrated basic stretches for cyclists both on and off the bike, the importance of stretching and the most common aches and pains of a cyclist due to their position on a bike and what they can do about it. Gunwharf Quays Open Day 2008On Saturday 29th November 2008, Back2Health held an Open Day at Gunwharf Quays. Chiropractors from Back2Health were available throughout the day to answer any questions and raise Chiropractic awareness.

20th Anniversary at Back2Health
Back2Health Chiropractic marked the 20th anniversary of starting their first
clinic in Petersfield, by holding a party on 28th March 2008 at the Festival Hall.
Jonathan Field, who started Back2Health, was clearly delighted that so
many patients and friends had come along to support the event. He said Six other clinics have since been established, employing 14 chiropractors.

Held On Tuesday 13th November 2007 at Petersfield Hospital Jonathan Field has worked as a Chiropractor for 20 years. He has been trained in western acupuncture techniques and explained the western understanding of how acupuncture works and the conditions which it can be appropriate for. Tony O'Mara is an Acupuncturist and studied traditional Chinese Medicine for 5 years. He explained the ancient approach and how the oriental principles can help to bring balance and well being to to all aspects of people's health. Back2Health Petersfield Event at the University of the Third Age. Jonathan Field DC presented information to approximately 150 attendees of the University of the Third Age on Monday 10th September 2007. He spoke about the history of back pain management, the development of chiropractic, the role of the chiropractor in the management of back pain as it is now, and finally spoke of the research being carried out at Back2Health into the outcomes of patient care. Back2Health Alton at Health Fayre Back2Health Alton provided a manned stand at the recent Health Fayre, held in the Assembly Rooms on the 8th September 2007. Open Evening at Back2Health Portsmouth. Thursday 30th August 2007, Back2Health Portsmouth hosted an Open Evening to enable patients to say goodbye to Olly Dawson and to meet Paul Shanahan DC.
